PROFOH International Engagements & Invitations

Our dream of becoming an international organization is gradually being realized, considering the record breaking international invitations we received, unfortunately we could not attend some of them due to logistical  and operational reasons . PROFOH was invited by ten organizations and institutions ,invitations came from the four corners of the globe to attend conferences, forums workshops, etc. Some of the high profile invitations 2013 included the Annual Meetings by the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund held on the 11-13,October, 2013 in Washington DC, United States .Also UNDP China  invitation 16-17th  November 2013, on The Rule of Law and Anti Corruption Seminar. Our proposed presentation  was “The Use of Soft Power in fighting Corruption‟. ‟Thirdly, The United Nations Industrial Development Organization( UNIDO) invitation the fifth   Ministerial Conference of Least Developed Countries(LDC) which took place on the 30th  November to 1st  December Lima Peru. Under the theme ”From the Istanbul Plan of Action to the world we want in 2015 and beyond”.

PROFOH SIGNED MOU WITH INDIA SECOND LARGEST HOSPITAL

The long awaited MOU between PROFOH/Zorway and Zydus Hospital Limited of Ahmadabad, Gujarat, one of the largest in India as a service provider while PROFOH/Zorway is the patient care facilitator. With this ground breaking agreement both organizations becomes partners and we can refer patients who can afford quality health care to Zydus Hospital from across Africa and they will enjoy great discount. In return PROFOH will provide volunteers physicians during our mission at their cost.

PROFOH SIGNED MOU WITH GTF LONDON

PROFOH and Global Thinkers Forum (GTF) based in London signed MOU was one of the ground breaking event for2013.It was facilitated by our very own Reem Bsasio a Board member of both organizations.GTF is a think tank, a platform to create dialogue and bring current and future leaders together to discuss governance, society, progress and the future that was   created to reposition perceptions about governance through a global perspective. Both organizations believes that through „Global Thinking‟ we can effectively tackle complex and controversial issues using key concepts including: global citizenship, conflict resolution, access to health care, interdependence, social justice, sustainable development, ethical values.. PROFOH &GTF promotes the extensive participation of women as a necessary imperative for our world and the creation of just societies .The MOU establishes the parameters and scope of collaboration between both organizations regarding GTF branded events such as forums, seminars ,workshops, meetings and Award ceremonies across Africa ,the agreement is valid 2018 starting with Accra Ghana event in 2014.

PROFOH SOUTH AFRICA COMMENCES OPERATION

Markus von–Have ,Janice Kuehn and Gbemuotor Kama within the past years have been working round the clock to established a South Africa with the help of other South African directors such as Mr. David Edward Dawn Spargo PROFOH with a contact office in  office in Cape Town. while waiting for the Government to issue the final certificate, the organization went ahead to support different Townships near Cape Town with food items and above all, organizing football games for young boys and girls and keeping them medically fit and engaged  places such as Fisantekraal, Mitchelsplain, etc.

PROFOH MOURN PRESIDENT NELSON MANDELA

Nobel Peace laureate, President Nelson Mandela a colossus of 20th century, died at the age 95, after a long battle against lung infection, prompting mass mourning and a global celebration of his astonishing life. Mandela’s extraordinary life story and lack of bitterness towards his former oppressors ensured global appeal for the charismatic leader. Mandela served a single term as president before taking up a new role as a roving elder statesman and leading AIDS campaigner before finally retiring from public life in  2003.Born in July 1918 in the southeastern Transkei region .In December 2003 President Mandela sent PROFOH a goodwill messages during the Commonwealth Head of Governments in Abuja ,Nigeria.
