Especially inside the global humanitarian space, we recognize the vital role that women play in PROFOH, as several countries Chairperson and Board members are women, From PROFOH Global Board Chair Reem Bsaiso from Jordon to other ranking members such as Dr. Safiya Umar, Itsemhe Thomas, Princess Oyeronke, Akinlolu in Nigeria, Jutta Wisura, Sabine Dohlus, Corrine in Germany, Angela Chester Johnson, Camille Bradshaw, Dr. Lorinda Liang, Amina Nizami in USA, Marcia Russell in Jamaica, Anita Singh in Nepal, Garima Dubey, Sayeeda Nasreen in India, Her Royal Highness Queen Hannah Andoh,  Her Royal Majesty Nene Hemaa, Hannah Adika  in Ghana, Maria Mogor, Lorene Copeland, Dr. Maria Bojang in UK, Dr. Jemimah Muturia in Kenya, Fikile Zutamane – South Africa, Oluwaseun Ajiboye, Yvonne Murphy in Ireland, Unni Unadike, Nene Micheal, Monica Ugomoahl in Finland, Ms. Faith in Canada and numerous prominent women who are driving PROFOH growth and expansion and shaping a more inclusive care to vulnerable populations.

Today, we honor your resilience, courage, and determination of PROFOH women (Volunteers, Members and Leadership) and inspire change.

As we work towards promoting Universal Health Coverage globally along with our core areas of Education, Water and Environment, PROFOH reaffirms its commitment to advancing gender equality and supporting girls and women globally.

Our women have defied all the constraints of patriarchy and are surmounting societal obstacles daily and have emerged as an increasingly formidable force in contemporary times.

This International Women’s Day, we commemorate and celebrate the remarkable achievements of women globally in health care, Education, Water and Environment spheres. The day also serves as a call to action, urging collective efforts to expedite the realization of gender parity.

Together, let us strive for a future where every woman has the opportunity to thrive, succeed, and lead.
