Thanks to bipartisan action by Congress, the Trump Administration, and advocates like you, SAMHSA’s federal grant funding for mental health and substance use programs has been restored. This swift response protected access to lifesaving care and prevented widespread disruption to services in communities across the United States. But this moment also underscores what is at stake. As Congress continues to negotiate funding for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for Fiscal Year 2026, lawmakers should continue their bipartisan commitment to fully funding mental health and substance use programs.

Take action today: Send a message thanking Congress for restoring SAMHSA grant funding, and urging them to continue their bipartisan work by fully funding HHS mental health and substance use programs in FY26 Your voice helps ensure that individuals, families, and communities can continue to access the mental health and substance use care and support they need.
