PROFOH Headquarters, Washington DC, we are very pleased to announce its participation: How Country
Investments are Powering Global Health Resilience, September 23rd,2026. New York City, United States. The
event is on the on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), the Pandemic Fund,
together with the Governments of Armenia and Rwanda, will convene Heads of State, ministers of health and
finance, leaders of international organizations, development partners, and global health experts for a high-level
discussion on how country leadership and investment are strengthening pandemic preparedness and building a
more resilient global health system.

Ahead of the UN High-Level Meeting on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response, also PROFOH have
been invited to this High -Level meeting, it’s important to state that our organization (PROFOH) actively
participated in the most recent United Nations PPPR edition held in 2023 by the United Nations and the World
Bank. This year event will spotlight how countries are investing their own resources—alongside catalytic financing
from the Pandemic Fund and partners—to close critical preparedness gaps, strengthen health systems, and build
resilience to future health threats. The discussion will highlight how investing in preparedness not only protects
lives but also safeguards economies. Global leaders and senior policymakers will share how these partnerships
are translating political and financial commitments into measurable results.
