The World Health Day, celebrated on April 7, this year is based on the theme “Together for health. Stand with Science. ” This year campaign emphasizes the power of scientific collaboration, evidence-based decision-making, and the “One Health” approach to protect the health of humans, animals, plants and planet.

 Key 2026 Focus Areas:

• Rebuilding Trust: Addressing the spread of disinformation by promoting fact-based health guidance and scientific literacy.
• One Health Approach: Strengthening the “One Health” framework, which links the health of humans, animals, and the environment to prevent future pandemics.
• Scientific Equity: Ensuring that life-saving innovations, from early screening tools to new vaccines, are accessible to all communities, regardless of income level.

PROFOH is a ranking stakeholder at the United Nations and World Bank Stakeholders meetings and participated in the recent Universal Health Coverage stakeholders meeting by the United Nations and World Bank in New York as our testimony of our global public health interventions for past 28 years. PROFOH solidify its stand and emphasizes on “Scientific Equity” and also our goal is to ensure that life-saving innovations are not just discovered, but are accessible to every community, regardless of income or geography.
