PROFOH Announces Its Participation at Fragility Forum 2026

PROFOH Headquarters, Washington DC – We are glad to announce our participation to this year
Fragility Forum, June 2026 (FF2026). The Fragility Forum is a biennial World Bank Group event that
brings global stakeholders together to share practical knowledge on operating in FCV contexts,
In 2024, for the first time, FCV-affected countries accounted for over half of the people living in extreme
poverty. Moreover, the decades-long global decline in extreme poverty is now projected to reverse by 2030
because of the growing number of extreme poor in FCV-affected countries.
PROFOH as an organization identify with the Bank strategic ambition into a lasting impact in FCV setting
as most our operational interventions and deployments are in FCV-affected countries. It also important
know that our relationship with the World Bank started in October,2012 during the Annual meeting held in
Tokyo, Japan. PROFOH has consistently identified with some of the Bank priorities -including achieving the
goal of reaching 1.5 billion people with quality and affordable health services will require smarter resource
use, bold thinking, and strong partnerships. Mission 300 aims to connect 300 million people to energy
access by 2030. (Nearly 600 million people in Sub Saharan Africa still live without electricity, without power
hospitals schools can’t operate effectively, modern agriculture cannot feed communities)
Also, the Bank Water Strategy Implementation Plan — with an ambitious target of improving water security
for 400 million people by 2030 — it brings a proven framework, global reach, and delivery capacity as its
core contribution to Water Forward
