PROFOH Headquarters, Washington DC, we are very pleased to announce our incorporation in the great Country of Mozambique, known as PROFOH MOZAMBIQUE. The unique aspect this incorporation is that the Board members are highly experience in humanitarian interventions
For those who do know much about this great country. Mozambique is located in Southern Africa; it borders six countries and has a 2,700 km-long coastline on the Indian Ocean. It is endowed with vast natural assets, including offshore gas reserves, mineral deposits, arable land, hydropower potential, and rich biodiversity. Yet, despite these advantages, many of its 33 million people, two thirds of whom live in rural areas, lack access to basic services and meaningful economic opportunities.
Finally, on behalf the PROFOH Global Board, Madam Chair, has specially asked me to express the organization profound appreciation and commendation to PROFOH MOZAMBIQUE, Country Director and board members.
